I am so grateful to see this work, with which I've not been familiar. Recently discovered and joined Yetzirah Poets, though, and finding this work, and my own, to be my spiritual home, more accessible and comfortable than the liturgy itself.
Carol, thank you. Poetry is essential and Yetzirah is wonderful! Interestingly, a significant part of the liturgy is poetry -- especially on Yom Kippur.
Yes, it is....no question about it! In fact my MG novel Reeni's Turn uses U'Netaneh Tokef as my shy character's message to take a risk that requires courage she believes is out of reach.
