Muchísimas gracias, Aviya. You know, subscribing to your blog is the best thing I did on my behalf last year. As I read the Psalms or the epistles of the Apostle Paul, I often think of the poets you have introduced me to through your workshop. (That's how I imagine this blog, the public-facing part of your workshop.) I have been edified. Looking forward to the next live event, to hear poets talk about how they create their work, how their travels and sojourns help them cultivate ideas.
I’m so moved to hear that this newsletter has been meaningful for you! And you’re right—we used to call these blogs. I love the idea that these poets return to you as you read the Psalms…..I think Ben Yitzchak was definitely influenced by the language of Tehillim aka The Psalms. It’s interesting, too, to look at prayers that mix verses from several psalms….a master class in borrowing as part of writing poetry.

Truly, thank you! I also read through the older posts regularly. You are a source of learning, Aviya.
Oh that's fantastic to hear! Thank you for sharing this. I try to hold on to the "timeless" goal!
